The engraving presented was published in 1611 under the title "Relazione delle vittorie del re di Polonia sopra i Moscoviti". It was later included in the publication "Cosmografia di Moscovia".
Giacomo Lauro was an engraver and publisher active in Rome from 1584 to 1637. Among his productions, many are thematically related to Poland and dedicated to King Sigismund III and Hetman Jan Zamoyski.
A rarity on the antiquarian market.
